Company Profile
Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation
Company Overview
The Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation (GWCHF) is a catalyst for positive, lasting and measurable health improvement across Wisconsin's Dodge and Jefferson counties. Our vision is thriving communities where everyone enjoys good health and wellbeing. This vision will be achieved through collaborative work with community partners and a strategic focus on key child health indicators, prioritizing investments for those who need extra support to achieve health, safety and school readiness.
Company History
With the purpose of promoting and enhancing the health and wellness of our community, GWCHF was created out of the September 2015 joint venture transaction between Watertown Regional Medical Center (WMRC) and LifePoint Health.
The value of WRMC was built, in part, on community support over the last century. The GWCHF is committed to carrying on this legacy of health by providing both financial and leadership resources to enhance the health status of Wisconsin's Dodge and Jefferson Counties.
In 2017, GWCHF launched Every Child Thrives (ECT), a collective impact effort uniting community partners in Wisconsin's Dodge and Jefferson Counties around a shared purpose of ensuring all children thrive in health, learning and life. With more than 40+ agency partners engaged, ECT uses data to drive decisions and align resources to support what works.
