Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly balance sheets, income statements, and budget vs. actual reports.
- Cash Flow & Budget Management: Monitor and manage client budgets and cash flow.
- Payroll Processing: Set up, schedule, and manage payroll for clients.
- Reconciliation & Data Entry: Reconcile bank statements and credit/debit cards; maintain accurate financial records.
- Tax & Compliance: Handle 1099 preparation, sales tax filing, and e-commerce financial support.
- Client Communication: Deliver clear, timely financial insights through weekly/monthly reports and custom client requests.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, with QuickBooks Online proficiency preferred.
- We are also looking for Bookkeepers with experience in Xero, Peachtree/Sage, and Buildum.
- Familiarity with payroll, cash flow management, and financial reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, but not required).
- Must be comfortable with remote collaboration tools like Zoom, email, and phone.
Tools Needed
- A reliable home office setup with high-speed internet.
- Computer with webcam and a smartphone for email communication.
- Ability to work during regular business hours for client interaction.
