About Neon Strategies: Neon Strategies is a boutique political consulting firm specializing in paid media, digital fundraising, and strategic communications. We service a variety of projects across several states for Democratic candidates and causes.
Position summary: We are seeking a self-motivated and organized professional interested in building skills in paid advertising, online fundraising, and strategic communications. The position will provide administrative and operational support to our team, along with excelling at project and client management. Attention to detail and sharp writing and proofreading skills are a must. Our preferred candidate will have 1-3 years of communications and/or campaign experience.
The position is fully remote, though very occasional travel may be required at company expense. Working hours are typically 9am-5pm CT at an average of 35 hours/week.
Position responsibilities:
Manage projects from start to finish, including engaging key stakeholders, creating internal timelines, overseeing creative drafts and approvals, and running client meetings;
Draft, edit and proof public-facing materials including fundraising emails, SMS, website content, mail and digital ads;
Execute project research and fact-finding;
Perform administrative duties such as document filing, meeting scheduling, notetaking, and assigning tasks in Asana;
Learn and use ActBlue, Every Action, Numero, Switchboard, Slack, and VAN;
Contribute to strategic planning and problem-solving;
And fill gaps as needed!
Compensation and logistics:
Salary: $60-68,000 annually Benefits: Health insurance and paid holidays Start Date: June 1, 2026 End Date: November 15, 2026 Open to a contract arrangement
