Description
Ripon College is accepting applications for the position of Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor for Business Management, Finance, and Economics. This full-time appointment will participate in integrated business management, finance, and economics programs for the 2025-2026 academic year. A basic grant and other internal travel and research grants will be offered.
Essential Functions
Fall 2025: The visiting professor will be responsible for teaching Corporation Finance (4 credits), Investment Analysis (4 credits), Business Simulation (2 credits), and Business Research (2 credits). Please see our catalog for course descriptions and contact us for scheduling information.
Spring 2026: The visiting instructor will teach Money and Banking (4 credits), and two other courses (4 credits each) that align with the visitor's areas of interest and competency.
The teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester.
Requirements
Qualifications
Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching students of diverse backgrounds at the undergraduate level.
A doctorate in a relevant field is preferred.
Candidates with ABD status or holders of other terminal degrees such as an MBA, EMBA or JD will be considered, particularly if they possess substantial experience in finance or other areas of business is preferred.
