POSITION OVERVIEW
The Call Time Manager will be a key part of our fundraising operations, responsible for managing daily candidate call time to ensure efficient outreach, follow-up, and donor cultivation. This role is ideal for someone with strong political acumen, attention to detail, and a passion for electing progressive leaders.
The role reports to Gabe Magic, Vice President of Fundraising.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage and track candidate call time, including scheduling, preparation, and follow-up with donors
-Maintain accurate and detailed donor call sheets, notes, and next steps each day
-Serve as a professional, encouraging, and supportive presence during call-time
-Conduct donor research and ensure lists and data are up to date before calls
-Keep candidates on track for weekly fundraising goals
-Organize and update donor database and CRM (Raisemore, ActBlue, NGP, etc)
-Assist with donor follow-up, thank-you notes, and re-solicitation strategy
-Work with campaign staff, event hosts, and senior consultants to schedule and manage House Party and other fundraising events
-Coordinate closely with finance staff, campaign managers, and consultants
QUALIFICATIONS
-Preferred previous experience in political fundraising, campaigns, or advocacy organizations
-Proficiency in donor databases (NGP, ActBlue, or comparable CRMs)
-Highly organized with excellent time management skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Comfortable working in fast-paced, goal-driven environments
-Commitment to progressive values and electing diverse candidates
-Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism
-Obsessively detail-oriented and understands that small things have big impacts
METRICS
This role pays $21-24/hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week, paid twice-monthly.
-Staffing Call Time – 60% of the role
-Event Management – 20% of the role
-Data Management and Entry – 20% of the role
