Brookfield Central High School: Associate Principal for Athletics & Activities
Brookfield Central High School is seeking a positive high-energy, results-oriented leader to serve as our next Associate Principal for Athletics & Activities. BC is home to 1,190 students and maintains a storied tradition of competitive excellence. Our community values high engagement, with 85% of students participating in at least one sport or club.
We are looking for a leader who will uphold the high standards of a program that has earned 47 WIAA State Team Championships, numerous individual state titles, and award winning clubs, theater, and activities.
The Role: The Athletics & Activities Director provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight for our elite extra-curricular and co-curricular programs. This position ensures that Lancer Athletics, Theatre, and Activities remain a premier force in the state, emphasizing discipline, achievement, and the "Where You Belong" spirit of our student body.
Entry Level Salary: $110,000, Negotiable with expereince. (12 month position)
Areas of Responsibility
- Athletic Leadership: Direct 25+ varsity sports programs, with a primary focus on maintaining and advancing the championship culture in all teams.
- Staff Management and Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and mentor a dedicated coaching staff and activity advisors to ensure peak performance and a unified commitment to excellence.
- Financial Management: Oversee athletic and activity budgets, student-based activity budgets, fundraising activities, and collaborate with the Lancer Athletic Booster Club and the Applause Theatre, Music, and Fine Arts Booster Club.
- Theatre Management: Provide administrative oversight for our award-winning theatre productions, including the Fall Musical.
- Game and Event Management: Direct and oversee the execution of all home athletic contests and special events, ensuring high-quality logistics, safety, and a premier spectator experience.
- Activities & Award-Winning Clubs: Manage and lead a wide range of award-winning clubs to ensure continued national and state-level recognition.
- Facility & Compliance Oversight: Oversee elite facilities and ensure strict adherence to Greater Metro Conference, WIAA and NFHS regulations and the Elmbrook Code of Conduct.
Hiring Timeline & Process
- February 2, 2026: Job posting opens.
- February 18, 2026 (3:00pm): Job posting closes.
- HireVue Digital Interview: All applicants will receive a HireVue opportunity. The HireVue Interview must be completed by February 20th at 9:00am.
- February 20, 2026: Candidates informed of In-Person Screening Interviews.
- March 5, 2026 (4:00pm-8:00pm): Final Interviews at Brookfield Central HS,
- March 6, 2026: Reference calls and formal offer to the top candidate.
- March 10, 2026: Candidate approval at the SDE Board of Education meeting.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Administrator License (or eligible to obtain one).
- Proven experience in athletic administration or educational leadership.
- Prior coaching experience is a plus.
- Strong commitment to the Lancer tradition of excellence and competitive success.
